Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos is in Israel and has fulfilled with President Isaac Herzog and Minister of Communications Yoaz Hendel at the president’s residence in Jerusalem. Sarandos is making an attempt to encourage Hendel not to shift forward with laws requiring international streaming services like Netflix to produce authentic material in Israel.

Sarandos heard what Israel is preparing on the issue and he defined that laws could hurt Netflix’s programs to grow investment in Israel. Netflix is involved about the precedent and Sarandos sought to reveal how the business is already cooperating with community sector in buying information and why legislation could result in decreased investment.
